CVE-2022-1444

Analysis-process denial of service

Published Apr 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Use-after-free in radare2 before 5.7.0 allows attackers to interrupt the analysis process through an undisclosed trigger. The published record identifies neither the affected parser, function, freed object, nor stale access, and its cited commit contains unrelated red-black tree cleanup. NVD assesses local access with user interaction, while the CNA vector describes unauthenticated network reachability; public sources do not reconcile the gate conflict.
