Stored XSS via unprotected unescaped settings
Published May 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Bostjan Cigan Social Stickers 2.2.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script via a crafted settings request. The Social Network settings form accepts a cross-origin POST without CSRF validation and stores fields such as behance without output escaping. Execution requires a logged-in administrator to load attacker-controlled content, after which the stored payload runs when the affected value is rendered.
