CVE-2022-1411Network attack vector

Session hijacking via unvalidated WYSIWYG file upload

Published May 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in YetiForce CRM before 6.4.0 allows remote attackers to steal victim session cookies through stored script. The WYSIWYG editor accepts pasted base64 file data without server-side image-format validation and later serves the stored content to other users. A victim must retrieve and render the malicious upload in a browser, enabling the attacker's script to hijack the victim's CRM session.
