Code execution via malformed project file parsing
Published Apr 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Delta Electronics ASDA-Soft 5.4.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted project file. The project-file parser fails to sanitize file-controlled input before using it in a memory read, allowing access beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-supplied project file; CISA reports no remote path or known public exploit.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
