Missing authorization in Mattermost 6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to install obsolete Marketplace plugins. The Marketplace installation path does not properly validate the requested plugin version and accepts an older release with known flaws. A System Administrator must initiate installation, and the resulting impact depends on vulnerabilities in the selected plugin release.
