Information disclosure in cross-fetch before 2.2.6 and 3.0.0 through 3.1.4 allows context-dependent attackers to obtain cookies via redirects. In Node.js, cross-fetch delegates redirects to bundled node-fetch, which forwards Cookie and authorization headers to a different origin instead of stripping them. Exposure requires an application to attach sensitive headers to a request that reaches an attacker-controlled cross-origin redirect; GitHub withdrew this product advisory because the defect originates in node-fetch.
