Data theft via unquoted note filter identifier
Published Apr 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Pimcore before 10.3.5 allows attackers to read database data remotely through crafted note-list filters in the admin interface. ElementController.php noteListAction placed the request-controlled filter property between literal backticks when building a condition instead of quoting it as an SQL identifier. The vulnerable action is part of the administrative controller, although published CVSS assessments disagree on whether authentication is required.
