CVE-2022-1331

File disclosure via external entity resolution

Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

XXE in project-file parsing in Delta Electronics DMARS before 2.1.10.24 allows remote attackers to read files through crafted input. Across four project-file handlers, the XML parser resolves a supplied external-entity URI and embeds the retrieved content into the parsed document. Exploitation requires the target to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the DMARS process.
