CVE-2022-1321Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-level script execution via unescaped referer setting

Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Stored XSS in miniOrange 2FA before 5.5.6 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The Advanced Blocking Add Referer field stores input without sanitization and renders it without output escaping. The path requires 2FA plus Website Security, disabled unfiltered_html, and a visitor opening an injected page, which then runs the stored script.
