Omnibox spoofing via flawed compositing

Improper compositing in Google Chrome before 100.0.4896.88 allows remote attackers to spoof Omnibox contents via crafted HTML. Google identifies the locus only as compositing and has not published the incorrect operation performed when rendering untrusted page content. A user must open attacker-controlled HTML; the displayed address can then misrepresent the page's origin, supporting phishing without directly reading or changing stored data.
