CVE-2022-1225Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated subnet data disclosure via missing permission check

Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Incorrect privilege assignment in phpIPAM before 1.4.6 allows remote authenticated users to read subnet data via export requests. The export-subnet.php endpoint fetched a subnet by ID and returned its addresses without calling the subnet permission check, so users lacking access could obtain protected subnet information. Access requires a valid phpIPAM session; the demonstrated impact is unauthorized confidentiality loss, with no evidence of data modification or service interruption.
