Authenticated subnet data disclosure via unchecked export
Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Incorrect authorization in phpIPAM before 1.4.6 allows remote authenticated users to export IP addresses from unauthorized subnets. The subnet export endpoint fetches the subnet and its addresses by an attacker-supplied subnetId without calling check_permission; the patch rejects requests when the user has no subnet access. Any authenticated account that can reach the export endpoint can disclose address-management data for a subnet outside its assigned permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
