CVE-2022-1213Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SSRF via multi-port URL parsing bypass

Published Apr 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

SSRF in LiveHelperChat Live Helper Chat before 3.67v allows remote authenticated users to make arbitrary server-side HTTP or HTTPS requests. The lhcobrowse/proxycss.php endpoint checked parse_url results without first validating the complete base and css values, letting a multi-port URL conceal a disallowed destination port behind an allowed final port. Low-privileged access is required; the server then sends the crafted request with its own network reach, exposing otherwise restricted services.
