Reflected script execution via unsanitized keyword parameter
Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in WzTechno WYZI Business Finder before 2.4.3 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted search URL. The business search page returns the keyword query parameter in HTML without sufficient output encoding, allowing an injected image error handler to execute. A victim must follow the crafted URL; the script runs in the site's browser origin and can read or alter data accessible to that session, without interrupting service.
