Admin stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized settings
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Flower Delivery by Florist One through version 3.7 allows remote authenticated administrators to inject script through plugin settings. The settings handlers fail to sanitize and escape selected administrator-controlled values when WordPress disallows the unfiltered_html capability, such as in multisite configurations. A privileged administrator must save the crafted values and a user must load the affected page, allowing script execution in that user’s browser with the site’s origin and potentially altering page content or actions.
