Authentication failure in Aethon TUG Home Base Server before 24 allows remote attackers to control TUG robots through a websocket. The port 8080 websocket accepts unauthenticated clients and exposes JavaScript-based robot-control mechanisms without verifying the connecting endpoint. Network access to port 8080 is sufficient; successful exploitation permits movement and task commands that can disrupt physical operations.
