Stored script execution via unescaped Email To field
Published May 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Visual Form Builder before 3.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted Email To field. The form editor stores this field without sanitization and renders the saved value without output escaping when the form is edited. Administrator-level form access is required, and the stored script runs in the browser of a user who later edits the form.
