CVE-2022-1026Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via unauthenticated SOAP address-book export

Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Authentication bypass in KYOCERA Net Viewer allows remote attackers to read MFP address-book credentials over the local network. The MFP SOAP service accepts unauthenticated POST requests to /ws/km-wsdl/setting/address_book, creates an address-book enumeration object, and returns the identifier used to download it. Reachability to TCP port 9091 is required; exposed data is limited to stored address-book entries such as email addresses and SMB or FTP usernames and passwords.
