CVE-2022-1019

User redirection to attacker-controlled sites via Help URLs

Published Apr 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Open redirection in Automated Logic WebCTRL Server 7.0 and earlier allows attackers to redirect users through crafted Help page URLs. The vendor locates the flaw in web-accessible Help index.htm files but does not disclose the exact parameter or redirect operation; adding a restrictive Content Security Policy changes the vulnerable state. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL and can deliver an attacker-controlled webpage or malicious file, with no reported server-side data or availability impact.
