Unauthenticated blind SQL injection via groupsIds interpolation
Published May 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Blind SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins Personal Dictionary before 1.3.4 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. The ays_pd_game_find_word request handler interpolates the untrusted groupsIds POST array into an SQL statement before executing it. An exposed shortcode page with populated dictionary data is required; the verified proof of concept demonstrates a five-second database delay without authentication.
