Data disclosure via stale FUSE write buffers

Use-after-free in the FUSE direct-I/O path in Linux kernel 5.16-rc8 allows local users to read stale write-buffer data. The path retains references to user pages in pipe buffers after fuse_dev_do_read unlocks the request and write returns, allowing later reuse to remain readable. Exploitation requires permission to mount a FUSE filesystem and can expose partial password hashes or other filesystem data, enabling privilege escalation.
