Privilege escalation or crash via offset overflow

Integer overflow in Linux Kernel releases containing vulnerable vhost-vDPA code allows local users to trigger out-of-bounds access and crash the system. The vhost_vdpa_config_validate function subtracts a user-controlled length from the configuration size before validating the offset, so 32-bit unsigned wraparound accepts an invalid request. Exploitation requires a 32-bit kernel with CONFIG_VHOST_VDPA enabled and local low-privileged access; the reported consequences are a crash and possible privilege escalation.
