Stored XSS via unescaped Config Name
Published Apr 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in the Configs module of WPMU DEV Hummingbird before 3.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a Config Name. The module saves and renders the Config Name without sanitizing the submitted value or escaping it for HTML output. Administrator-level access is required, but the payload still executes when unfiltered_html is disabled and a saved config is applied.
