Firewall misconfiguration in ABB ARG600 Wireless Gateway 2.4.0 through 3.4.10 allows remote attackers to reach protected services. The firewall-rule generation script creates overly permissive iptables rules when the Ethernet port function is VLAN and its interface type is WAN. Network access to the device, often through a public-IP SIM, exposes enabled serial and protocol gateways plus authenticated management interfaces.
