Authentication bypass via unvalidated OAuth state
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Improper authentication in Logitech Options before 9.60.87 allows remote attackers to perform CSRF during OAuth authorization. The OAuth 2.0 state parameter is not properly validated when authentication or authorization responses are processed, allowing a forged response to be accepted. Exploitation requires a victim to participate in the OAuth flow, and can change actions or data within the authenticated session.
