CVE-2022-0912Network attack vector

Authenticated file upload via incomplete PHP extension denylist

Published Mar 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Microweber before 1.2.11 allows remote authenticated users to upload dangerous PHP files. The plupload.php switch and get_dangerous_files_extentions() list omit phtml and php6, so those executable suffixes pass validation. High-privilege access and user interaction are required; an accepted file can expose or alter data if the server executes its suffix.
