Administrator browser script execution via missing CSP
Published Mar 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Pimcore before 10.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The administrative response path did not apply a restrictive Content Security Policy to block scripts embedded in stored, attacker-controlled content. Exploitation requires high-privileged access to store the payload and user interaction when an administrator opens the affected view, exposing browser-context data and permitting page changes.
