Unauthenticated RCE via upload type bypass
Published Mar 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms File Uploads 3.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted uploads. The uploads.php AJAX controller performs insufficient file-type validation, allowing dangerous files to be stored. Unauthenticated network attackers can reach the endpoint without a login; successful uploads can compromise the WordPress server, while exploitability depends on server execution of uploaded content.
