Stored script execution via unescaped form-field metadata
Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Cozmoslabs Profile Builder before 3.6.8 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through form fields. The Form Fields editor stores Title and Description values without sanitization, and Register or Edit Profile pages render them without escaping. Administrator access is required even when unfiltered_html is disabled, and another user must load a page containing the modified field.
