CVE-2022-0858Network attack vector

Administrator-session abuse via crafted-link XSS

Published Mar 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Cross-site scripting in McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator before 5.10 Update 13 allows remote attackers to alter limited console data. Trellix identifies the affected locus only as an area of the administrative user interface and does not disclose which parameter is returned without safe output encoding. Exploitation requires an ePO administrator to click a crafted link, allowing attacker-controlled script to act within that administrator's session.
