Authenticated administrative actions via missing permission checks
Published Mar 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper authorization in Orchard Core before 1.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to perform restricted administrative actions. Content, feature, and role controller actions perform reads or mutations without first enforcing their corresponding authorization permissions. A low-privileged account is required; exploitation can expose or modify content, create roles, and enable or disable features.
