Authenticated code execution via bypassable dol_eval sanitization
Published Mar 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code injection in Dolibarr ERP & CRM before 15.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP and system commands. The dol_eval function in htdocs/core/lib/functions.lib.php passes attacker-influenced expressions to PHP eval after a denylist filter that crafted syntax can bypass. Reachability requires authenticated access to a feature that supplies an evaluated expression; successful exploitation grants the web process's filesystem and command access.
