CVE-2022-0758

Reflected XSS via literal test credentials

Published Mar 17, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Reflected XSS in Rapid7 Nexpose 6.6.129 and earlier allows attackers to run script via literal test-credential values. Shared Scan Credential Configurations accept those values and render them without sufficient output neutralization. Rapid7 has not published the exact privilege gate or rendering page; the bounded consequence is script execution in a console user's browser.
