Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Missing authorization in SuiteCRM before 7.12.5 allows remote authenticated users to modify another user's account through a save request. The User::save method accepted a target user record without verifying that the current user matched that record or held administrator privileges. Any logged-in user could alter another account record; the published assessment limits impact to confidentiality and integrity, with no service interruption.
