Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped post_id
Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in QuantumCloud Infographic Maker - iList before 4.3.8 allows remote attackers to query its database without authentication. The qcld_upvote_action AJAX handler inserts the unvalidated and unescaped post_id parameter into an SQL statement. The action is exposed to unauthenticated requests, and the published proof of concept demonstrates a time-based database response oracle.
