Environment variable disclosure via sendmail shell injection

Improper input validation in GitLab CE/EE allows remote attackers to steal environment variables via crafted email addresses. The sendmail delivery path passes recipient text through insufficient shell escaping, allowing shell expansion of control characters and variables; affected ranges are 10.0 through 14.6.4, 14.7.0 through 14.7.3, and 14.8.0 through 14.8.1. Exploitation requires GitLab to use the sendmail transport and a shell configuration that expands the supplied address, after which sensitive environment values such as application secrets or cloud credentials can be read without reported integrity or availability impact.
