Booking tampering and data disclosure via unchecked identifier
Published Mar 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Amelia before 1.0.47 allows remote authenticated users to alter others' bookings and read customer details. The wpamelia_api AJAX appointment handler accepts a booking identifier from the request body without verifying that the logged-in customer owns that booking. A customer account and another valid booking identifier are required; exploitation changes booking records and exposes full names and phone numbers.
