Administrator browser script execution via missing CSP
Published Mar 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Pimcore before 10.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The AdminBundle returned administrator pages without a Content-Security-Policy header or per-script nonces, so previously stored markup could execute as trusted page script. Exploitation requires an authenticated content write and an administrator to view affected content, exposing page data and enabling page modifications in that session.
