Reflected script execution via uncast route identifiers
Published Feb 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Microweber before 1.2.11 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim’s browser through crafted edit-route IDs. Four administrative edit controllers passed each route ID directly into view data, allowing nonnumeric markup to reach HTML; the patch coerces every ID to an integer. A victim must follow a crafted request, and script execution is confined to that victim’s browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
