Published May 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Bilal TAS Admin Menu Editor 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted role parameter. The plugin places the role query parameter into its WordPress administration page without sanitizing the input or escaping it for HTML output. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow the crafted settings-page link while authenticated, after which script runs in that administrator's browser context.
