Script execution via unescaped mmursp_id reflection
Published Mar 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Mapping multiple URLs redirect same page through 5.8 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted admin-page links. The plugin writes the mmursp_id query parameter into the edit view's HTML value attribute without sanitization or output escaping. A victim with access to the administrative page must follow an attacker-supplied link, causing arbitrary script to run in that victim's browser context.
