Authenticated command execution via report-logo upload
Published Mar 24, 2022 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Improper input validation in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 22.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The custom report-logo upload performs insufficient validation on uploaded image content, allowing it to trigger appliance commands. Admin or report manager access to the management interface is required, and commands run with web server user privileges.
