Stored script execution via unescaped server labels
Published Feb 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Petr Trofimov Beanstalk Console before 1.7.14 allows remote attackers to execute script through server names. The main.php and serversList.php templates render attacker-controlled server names and labels into links and table cells without HTML escaping. An attacker must make a crafted server entry visible to another console user; opening the affected view runs the stored script in that user's browser.
