Credential disclosure via cross-scheme redirect header retention

Sensitive information exposure in follow-redirects before 1.14.8 allows attackers to receive confidential headers through cross-scheme redirects. The _processResponse redirect logic removes Authorization and Cookie headers when the host changes but retains them when only the protocol changes. Exploitation requires a credential-bearing request to follow such a redirect, exposing retained headers to the redirected endpoint or intervening network observers.
