Application crash via malformed GIF LZW code size

Out-of-bounds read in HTMLDOC 1.9.15 allows context-dependent attackers to crash the application by supplying HTML with a crafted GIF. The gif_read_image function accepts an LZW code size above 12, causing unsigned index arithmetic in gif_get_code to wrap and read beyond its stack buffer. Exploitation requires a user or automated conversion workflow to process the document; the published proof demonstrates a segmentation fault only.
