Browser script execution via unescaped group names
Published Feb 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Pimcore before 10.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted Data Object group names. The fieldcollectionTreeAction and objectbrickTreeAction responses place Field Collection and Object Brick group names into tree-node text without HTML encoding. Low-privileged access to Data Objects settings and interaction by another user are required, bounding impact to that user's browser session and permitted actions.
