SQL injection via unsanitized subscriber popup ID
Published Mar 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Sygnoos Popup Builder before 4.1.1 allows remote attackers to inject SQL through an All Subscribers dashboard request. The plugin places the sgpb-subscription-popup-id parameter into a SQL statement without sanitization or escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted link; injected query output can be reflected as script in that administrator's browser.
