Reflected XSS via unsanitized dashboard parameters
Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Insights from Google PageSpeed before 4.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted dashboard parameters. The settings dashboard reflects unsanitized request parameters into HTML attributes without proper escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link while using the plugin dashboard; script then runs in that browser context and can read or alter accessible page data.
