Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped AJAX parameter
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce before 11.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser script via AJAX. The woosea_categories_dropdown AJAX handler inserts the rowCount parameter into an HTML attribute without escaping it, so crafted attribute content becomes executable script. An authenticated WordPress session and user interaction are required, and successful exploitation runs script with the victim browser session's access.
