Stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized settings
Published May 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in mibuthu Event List before 0.8.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The plugin stores and renders unescaped values from Feed Settings, including iCal link text, and General settings text for no events. Administrator-level access is required to plant the payload, and another administrator must view the affected output; execution is confined to that viewer's WordPress session.
